TANZANIA NATIONAL PARKS
PUBLIC NOTICE
Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) wishes to inform all park investors, Tour operators and the general public that, pursuant to GN Na. 666 of 2nd November 2018, TANAPA has done amendments of some fees so as to promote park visitations for both domestic and international tourists.
TANAPA has therefore:
- Reduced concession fees for EAC Citizens
- Reduced huts fees for children climbing Mt Meru and Kilimanjaro
- Reduced the video shooting fees
- Reduced cycling fee for Arusha national park
- Reduced paragliding and Mawenzi technical climbing for EAC Citizens
- Introduced a new fee for EAC member states students that allows them to visit parks without the need to request for a prior permit from the director general
- Introduced snorkeling activities in parks with water bodies
- Introduced fees for the newly opened park owned accommodation facilities in Gombe national park
- Reduced paragliding fees for assengers
A. Concession fees for EAC Citizens: Shall come into effect from 18 Dec 2018
- TZS 30,000 per person per night for adults (16years and above) for Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Kilimanjaro and Arusha national parks
- TZS 10,000 per person per night for children (5-15 years) for Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Kilimanjaro and Arusha national parks
- TZS 20,000 per person per night for adults (16 years and above) for Mkomazi, Saadani, Mikumi, Mahale, Udzungwa, Ruaha, Kitulo, Katavi, Gombe, Rubondo and Saanane national parks
- TZS 5,000 per person per night for children (5-15 years) for Mkomazi, Saadani, Mikumi, Mahale, Udzungwa, Ruaha, Kitulo, Katavi, Gombe, Rubondo and Saanane national parks.
B. Fees for new accommodation facilities owned by the park in Gombe shall be as follows:

Fees for Students from EAC registered institutions (organized trips visiting all parks): Student here is defined as a person studying on full time bases in a registered primary/ secondary/ high school/ college/ university in EAC member states. | ||

- All fees are VAT (18%) exclusive.
- Paragliding, snorkeling, Mawenzi Technical climbing and cycling fee are payable on top of conservation fee
- The condition that requires Schools/Colleges to request permit from the office of the Director General is now waived
- Other park fees and regulations remain the same
